Tax deadline – Pronto Taxx , the looming IRS tax deadline may be stressful for many Americans. .. 69% of people attribute their stress to money and 65% report that work is a cause of stress, interrelated issues that are highlighted for many during the tax-filing process.

Filing your return and paying any tax due by January 31 prevents any penalty for late payment of the last installment. If you can’t file and pay your tax by January 31, file and pay your tax by April 15

If you’re a tax generalist, don’t switch gears multiple times throughout your day. For example, perform 1040 (individual) tax returns in the morning, then switch to 1065 (partnership) returns in the afternoon. This way, you can keep the momentum going.

The same goes for follow-up calls or other tasks – bundle them into a time slot

The stress of tax season is real.

Every year from January 1 to April 15, taxpayers throughout the United States collect and record their wages and earnings.
And every tax season, the pressure to file for returns by a deadline gives tax preparers and accountants plenty of business while adding enough stress to garner the attention of the medical community.
The American Psychological Association’s Annual Stress in America report shows that money has consistently been ranked a top concern for adults since 2007, when the association began the nationwide survey.
“When we ask people what it is that is causing stress in their life, it’s about money and uncertainty,” said Vaile Wright, the group’s psychologist and director of research and special projects.
